BIOTA advocates sustainability and resilience in this time of pandemic


Biology Teachers Association Inc. Bicol Chapter in cooperation with Central Bicol State University of Agriculture sponsored the BIOTA 9th Annual Regional Virtual Convention and Scientific Session on 12-14 March 2021.
Biology-based Innovations and Transformation for Sustainability and Resiliency Amidst COVID 19 Pandemic was this year’s theme of the said event. Dr. Amelia Nicolas of CBSUA and other resource speakers from SUCs in the Philippines shared various new knowledge on Biology and other Life Sciences in the Education 4.0.
Dr. Melinda Pan, Prof. Sheila Ruiz, Prof. Luigi Lorenzo Razal, and Prof. Kat Gepilano were elected officers of BIOTA-Bicol for the next two years.
Outgoing BIOTA-Bicol President, Dr. Myra Luz Homillano led the team.
