The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) conducted an ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) Orientation on March 11, 2026, at the Farmer’s Training Hall, as part of its efforts to enhance the university’s alignment with regional and international quality assurance standards.
The activity gathered deans, key officials, and quality assurance personnel to deepen their understanding of the AUN-QA framework and program assessment criteria and to guide academic units in identifying potential programs for future assessment. The orientation also initiated preliminary discussions on program readiness and areas for improvement in preparation for the AUN-QA evaluation.
Presentations were delivered by Rose Lynnor A. Matos, Quality Assurance Director, and Christine Allen Riza N. Boncodin, Assistant Director for Local/National QA, focusing on key areas of the AUN-QA framework, including expected learning outcomes, program structure, teaching and learning approaches, student assessment, and continuous improvement.
With the initiative, CBSUA continues to strengthen its quality assurance mechanisms and advances its goal of delivering globally competitive education aligned with international standards. | 𝘙𝘦𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘰𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘘𝘈𝘖
