The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA), through the Office of the Vice-President for Research and Innovation (OVPRI) and Research Services Division (RSD), held Research Translation and Utilization: Moving Research Outputs from Knowledge to Action on September 23, 2026, bringing researchers together to explore ways to turn completed research outputs into policies, projects, products, and other practical applications.
The activity focused on three pathways for research utilization: Research to Policy, Research to Project, and Research to Product, with participants engaging in discussions and hands-on workshops on translating research findings into policy recommendations, utilization-ready projects, and outputs for transfer, commercialization, or extension.
Through the activity, researchers were guided in looking beyond the completion and publication of their studies by identifying possible applications and utilization pathways for their research outputs.
The activity highlighted the role of research translation in moving knowledge from the research setting into applications that can respond to institutional, community, and sectoral needs. 𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘊𝘺𝘳𝘪𝘭 𝘒𝘢𝘺𝘦 𝘋𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘴
