The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) will serve as host for the Language and Literature International Conference (LLICON) 2026, following the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed with the Bicol Association of Language and Literature Teachers (BALLT) on February 23, 2026, strengthening international collaboration in language and literature education.
The partnership was formally sealed by CBSUA President Dr. Alberto N. Naperi and BALLT President Dr. Jenifer Sevilla, marking a key step in advancing academic cooperation, research collaboration, and professional development opportunities for educators, researchers, and language scholars.
Anchored on the theme โReimagining the Future Trajectory of Language and Literature in the Age of AI, Multimodality, Global Citizenship, and Inclusivity,โ LLICON 2026 will feature plenary talks, parallel sessions, and research presentations on artificial intelligence, digital humanities, gender studies, indigenous voices, and contemporary linguistic research.
With this collaboration, LLICON 2026 aims to promote innovative instructional methodologies, multidisciplinary research engagement, and reflective teaching practices in flexible learning environments. The conference will also serve as a platform for scholarly discussions on emerging trends in language and literature education.
