CBSUA-CALABANGA BOLSTERS TOURISM, EDUCATION PROGRAMS IN CURRICULUM REVIEW

The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA)- Calabanga Campus positions itself as a hub for specialized education and sustainable industry growth after the recently conducted University Curriculum Review on January 26, 2026, held at the Camilo N. Divinagracia Hall (Research Hall) of CBSUA-Pili Campus.

The University Curriculum Review Committee evaluated and refined four high-impact degree programs designed to meet the specific socio-economic needs of the Bicol Region. The review focused on four forward-thinking programs aimed at producing graduates who are not only globally competitive but also deeply rooted in local industrial strengths: BS in Tourism Management (Major in Eco-Tourism); BS in Tourism Management (Major in Agri-Aqua Tourism); Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECEd); and Bachelor in Special Needs Education (BSNEd). Each curriculum was meticulously crafted by a dedicated team of academic experts: Dr. Ernesto Doloso, Jr., Prof. Mariss Encinares, Dr. Flordeliza Relloso, Prof. Carmela Rose Samar, Dr. Jenelyn Aguelo, Mr. Kevin Abiog, Dr. Nilda Olores, Mr. Jordan Lauron, and Ms. Ilonah Jean De Mesa. To ensure institutional quality and regulatory compliance, the proposals were reviewed by a panel of high-level university officials.
