CBSUA, CNSC FORMALIZE PARTNERSHIP FOR GAD INITIATIVES

The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA), through the Regional Gender and Development Resource Center (RGADRC) signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Camarines Norte State College (CNSC)-Center for Equity, Inclusivity, and Diversity, on January 26, 2026, to advance gender-responsive initiatives and inclusive partnerships in the region.

The activity was graced by CNSC President Atty. Rayan Esteves; Dr. Delma Jean Abad, Director of the CNSC Center for Equity, Inclusivity, and Diversity; CBSUA University President, Dr. Alberto N. Naperi; Extension Director, Prof. Abigail Guinoo; Director of the CBSUA Regional GAD Resource Center and Program Leader of the WE CARE TOGETHER Extension Program, Dr. Glenn E. Redecilla; and Engr. Dulce Abigail Jastio and Prof. Leizle B. Manacob, Extension Project Heads. Also present were the GAD Coordinators from the CNSC campuses.

This partnership focuses on GAD modeling and the sharing of best practices through gender-responsive instruction, research, and extension, as embodied in CBSUA’s WE CARE TOGETHER Program.

Dr. Naperi and Atty. Esteves, Presidents of CBSUA and CNSC respectively, unanimously expressed their support for the partnership. Dr. Naperi reassured CNSC of CBSUA’s commitment to the collaboration, particularly sharing its resources to contribute in bettering and spreading gender-related initiatives in the region. Furthermore, the partnership reinforces the belief that meaningful progress in gender mainstreaming and community empowerment is best achieved through unity, cooperation, and compassion.
