The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Office V has officially recognized the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) as the Top 1 Lifelong Learning Mature Provider in the Bicol Region today, March 6, 2026. This recognition highlights CBSUA’s exceptional performance among higher education institutions (HEIs) in the region, particularly in its successful implementation of programs designed for non-traditional learners and working professionals.
This achievement also reflects the university’s deep-rooted commitment to lifelong learning, which is woven into its institutional budget and core policies. Through the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP), Agricultural Enhancement Certificate Program (AECP), Teacher Certificate Program (TCP), and various other initiatives, CBSUA continues to provide flexible pathways for individuals to earn degrees through work experience and prior learning.
