The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) hosted a coordination meeting with Bicol College on March 17, 2026, at the Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation (OVPRI) to discuss the proposed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the project “Strengthening Banana Commercialization in Daraga, Albay: Empowering Farmers, Women, and Youth through Education, Research, and Innovation.”
Led by Bicol College Vice President for Academic Affairs and Research Dr. Milagros S. Esparrago, the visiting team met with CBSUA President Alberto N. Naperi to discuss collaboration on the proposed banana commercialization project.
CBSUA Vice President for Research and Innovation Dr. Dariel A. Palmiano led discussions on the key provisions of the proposed MOA, focusing on collaborative strategies to enhance banana production and commercialization in Daraga, Albay, and expand capacity-building initiatives for farmers, women, and youth through integrated education, research, and innovation.
The activity was coordinated by Dr. Christopher B.
