The University conducted the orientation and courtesy call of the four student representatives namely, Christine Boncodin (Pili campus), Luis Magdamit Jr (Pasacao campus), Jerome Valiente (Calabanga campus), and Archie Perpetua (Sipocot campus) to the North Carolina State University-Global Training Initiatives (NCSU-GTI) Developing Cultural Competence Virtual Exchange 2020.
The students represented CBSUA to the said training for four days which was participated in by different countries. This will form part of the University’s intensification of internationalization program amid crisis.

LEADERS UNITE ONLINE. Facilitated by the Office of the External Affairs and International Linkages (VPEIL) and Office of the Student Affairs and Services (OSAS), seven university students namely; Christine Boncodin and Jomar Buendia (Pili Campus), Luis Magdamit Jr., and Val Jade Remo (Pasacao Campus), Jerome Valiente and Angelica Contreras (Calabanga Campus) & Archie Perpetua (Sipocot Campus) attended as student representatives to the Applied Project in Global Leadership of the North Carolina State University – Global Training Initiatives (NCSU-GTI).

The said students underwent two-week intensive global leadership training and program with both live interactions with experts and peers, as well as readings, videos, and assignments to complete for further learning experience. This will keep the torch of leadership flaming in the international arena amid pandemic.
