Philippine Society of NSTP Educators and Implementers (PSNEI) V President, Dr. Charlie P. Nacario, led the Regional Enhancement Training for NSTP Educators and Implementers in accordance with the pertinent provisions of Republic act (RA) 7722, otherwise known as the “Higher Education Act of 1994”,and Republic Act (RA) No. 9163, “NSTP Act of 2001”, at Alvaro Rabina Hall on 19 July 2019.
Regional Director- CHEDRO V, Dr. Freddie T. Bernal, CESO III, on his message emphasized the meaning of NSTP “as a program aimed at enhancing civic consciousness and defense preparedness in the youth by developing the ethics of service and patriotism while undergoing training.”
Former Bicol University NSTP Director, Prof. Domingo LI. Nace, tackled about School Based NSRC Best Practices; furthermore, CHED NSTP Coordinator& Consultant- PSNEI V, Dr. Manual C. Mendoza, discussed Revisiting NSTP Law R.A. 9163 and looking back at CMO No. 27, s. 2015.
Adding to the line of resources speakers, CHEDRO V-ES II, Dr. Rose Arao,presented the Minimum Curriculum Standards for NSTP. PSNEI President, Dr.Charlie P. Nacario elaborated about Revitalizing Community-Based DRRM stated in R.A 10121.
