In a strong demonstration of its commitment to academic excellence and transformative teacher education, the College of Education at CBSUA–Sipocot Campus conducted a three-day benchlearning activity on December 2-5, 2025, across premier teacher education institutions in Luzon.
Guided by the visionary leadership of Dr. Darrel M. Ocampo, College Dean, the initiative championed the university’s thrust toward quality assurance, evidence-based governance, and the continuous elevation of instructional and institutional standards. Dr. Ocampo’s direction ensured that the activity was not only an academic exposure of exemplary practices but a strategic undertaking aligned with CBSUA’s mission to provide high-caliber teacher education services.
The delegation included Program Chairpersons Julie B. Llagas (BSEd), Emelda Ablao (BEEd), and Maria Joycee C. San Agustin (BTLED), together with the entire College of Education faculty. They visited institutions renowned for excellence in teacher formation: the Philippine Normal University, Pampanga State Agricultural University, Tarlac Agricultural University, Central Luzon State University, Benguet State University, and Saint Louis University.
Each stop provided critical insights into best practices in curriculum design, instructional innovation, program governance, research and extension, and quality assurance mechanisms, elements vital to strengthening CBSUA–Sipocot’s academic landscape. A roundtable discussion with partner institutions further opened avenues for future collaboration, academic linkages, and capacity-building initiatives.
This milestone engagement stands as a testament to CBSUA–Sipocot’s unwavering pursuit of educational quality and institutional growth, an effort made possible through the steadfast support, guidance, and approval of University President Dr. Alberto Naperi and Campus Administrator Rowel Castuera. Their leadership remains instrumental in advancing the College of Education’s vision and ensuring that its initiatives translate into enhanced services for the future educators of the nation.
With strengthened insights and renewed commitment, the College of Education continues to position itself as a dynamic leader in teacher education, ready to meet both national and global standards. | 𝘙𝘦𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘔𝘳. 𝘉𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘚𝘪𝘨𝘶𝘦𝘯𝘻𝘢, 𝘉𝘌𝘌𝘥 𝘍𝘢𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘺; 𝘗𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘰𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘔𝘴. 𝘙𝘪𝘤𝘢 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘰, 𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘨𝘦 𝘚𝘦𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘺
