LOOK: The University Review Center and College of Development Education organized the “Advancing Competencies of Examinees (ACE) for the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) opening program last June 4, 2022, via Zoom Video Conferencing.

To further increase the university’s Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) overall performance, per the recommendation of Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc., CDE, in coordination with the University Review Center, once again intensify the review program by reaching out to the retakers and first takers that were graduates of all CBSUA campuses to prepare them for the Licensure Examination on September 2022.

Further, in adherence to RA 7836, (an Act to Strengthen the Regulation and Supervision of the Practice of Teaching in the Philippines and Prescribing a Licensure Examination for Teachers and Other Purposes) otherwise known as the “Philippine Teachers Professionalization Act of 1994” and CHED Memorandum Order No. 30 s. of 2004, CDE initiated the “Advancing Competencies of Examinees (ACE) LEPT Program” for the BEEd and BSEd graduates or alumni of all the CBSUA campuses, and the Teaching Certificate Completers or TCP who will take and retake the LEPT this coming September 2022. “Figuratively, to “ace” a test, means to get a very high score on a test, which is the very aim of this program. We have high hopes that with these media, we can increase the school performance of the colleges, or better yet to produce top notchers this year, and to aid the first-takers and retakers to become professionals in the field,” said Dean Reapor.

This program will be held for 17 Weekend Days, synchronously and asynchronously, from June 4 to August 6, 2022. There will be no registration fee and all the expenses will be charged to the University Review Center.

“This is what CDE, URC, and CBSUA can do to continually serve our dear graduates and alumni.” Dean Reapor added.
