Coast Mountain College, CBSUA Calabanga collaborate for international partnerships

Based in Canada, Coast Mountain College (CMTN) has decided to form international cooperation with the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA-Calabanga).
On July 15, the partnership commenced with a business meeting participated by the University President, Dr. Alberto Naperi, with Vice President for Business and External Affairs, Prof. Cesar Armando Camba, Campus Administrator, Dr. Cornelio Funtanar, College of Education Dean Dr. Aurora Besmonte, TCP Coordinator Dr. Anna Liza Bordado, BSE-Filipino Coordinator and LHS Principal, Dr. Noel M. Celeste, BSE Math Coordinator, and Curriculum Reforms and Development Coordinator, Prof. Salomon B. Azanes, Jr., and Coordinator BSE-English, Prof. Jerome Hipolito, met with the Dean of Instruction, Arts, Science and Health, Dr. Titi Kunkel, Manager, Student Recruitment, Dr. Jieni Lim, International Recruitment Coordinator, Ms. Jessica Scafe, and In-Country Manager, Philippines, Ms. Anna Pocong to discuss the road map of the 3-year Memorandum of Understanding to promote academic cooperation in the fields of Education, Agriculture, Sciences, and Industrial Technology.
University-wide policy on international partnerships to be developed to serve as a guide for designing projects involving international partners, profiling of faculty members based on expertise to be developed to serve as a pool of experts for future international lectures and speakerships, and the visiting professor program, and establishing the criteria for the study abroad program are among the recommendations arising from the business meeting with CMTN.
In the midst of the epidemic, CBSUA Calabanga is working hard to achieve the university’s goal of strengthening internationalization initiatives.
