On March 8-9, 2023, the College of Veterinary Medicine conducted a veterinary mission to the community at the CBSUA Veterinary Teaching Hospital and Robinsons Mall Naga respectively as part of the celebration of Veterinary Medicine Week this year with the theme “CVM @ 24: One CVM, One Heart, One Community”.

Hundreds of fur parents availed free anti-rabies vaccines, spaying, castration, and other vet services for their animal pets. The clients who visited the activity were also given free consultation and information materials on responsible pet ownership. Aside from the vet services, the College of Veterinary Medicine also organized a Seminar on Zoonotic Diseases and Exotic Animals. CVM invited Senior High School students from private schools to immerse themselves in the field of Veterinary Medicine and be exposed to the different subjects offered by the program.

The activity was made possible with the support of the College of Veterinary Medicine Supreme Council, the International Veterinary Students’ Association-CBSUA, sponsoring agencies, and volunteer veterinarians who are also graduates of the university. Other volunteer veterinarians that offered free services during the activity were Dr. Manny G. Victorino, Dr. Princess D. Victorino, Dr. Wilfredo V. Kho, Dr. Jomar P. Mago, and Dr. Nemesio O.
