The CBSUA-Extension Services Division conducted a Mid-Year Monitoring and Assessment of Ongoing Extension Programs and Projects to guide their implementation and address emerging problems of the extension programs and projects on July 20, 2023, at the C.N. Divinagracia Hall.

Through the effort of its Director, Dr. Vladimir R. Foronda, the Mid-Year Monitoring and Assessment was conducted to determine the current status of the extension programs/projects and compromise potential solutions to emerging gaps and problems that arise during their implementation and also assess if their progress is made in achieving expected results.

A total of 22 ongoing extension programs and projects aligned with the universityโ€™s curricular programs were presented by faculty extensionists from different colleges. These programs and projects were evaluated to recalibrate their tracks and guide the implementers leading to economic and societal impact and addressing Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Those problems that arose at the implementation stage were also offered solutions by providing valuable recommendations to the faculty extensionists.

Technical evaluators that assessed these programs are composed of experts from different fields of specialization. They are experts in program development, environment, agriculture, cooperative, and entrepreneurial management. The external evaluator panel consisted of the former CBSUA Professor and Entrep Faculty from the Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, Dr. Carmelita N. Cervantes; and Prof. Kristopher T. Visaya. Meanwhile, the panel internal evaluators are composed of the Pili Campus Administrator, Dr. Celerino B. Llesol, Jr.; Vetiver Center Director, Dr. Melchora V. Abonal; Taro Center Director, Dr. Allan B. Del Rosario; Dean of College of Economics and Management, Dr. Gladys G.
