CBSUA Inks MOA with DOST-FNRI for “IMPACT”

Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) partnered with DOST-FNRI. The virtual MOA signing between DOST-FNRI and its partner SUCs, the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) and Davao Del Norte State College (DDNSC) took place in June 7, 2022. The collaboration aims to provide technical assistance about technology transfer and commercialization, R&D products consultation, and related concerns about Intellectual Property (IPMO).

DOST-FNRI was represented by Dr. Imelda Angeles-Agdeppa, Director IV and Dr. Milflor S. Gonzales, Officer-In-Charge of Office of the Deputy Director. Also in attendance is Mr. Alex M. Ortiz, Supervising Science Research Specialist and Project Leader, DOST-FNRI IMPACT Project titled: “IP Management Program for Academic Institutions Commercializing Technologies (IMPACT): Enhancement of the DOST-FNRI’s Technology Transfer Office Policies and Processes”

President Dr. Alberto N. Naperi and the VP for Research and Innovation, Dr. Ramona Isabel S. Ramirez signs the commitment for CBSUA. Research and Innovation Cluster Directors were also present during the event, expressing the strong commitment of the University to the partnership. The event was ended with a successful MOA signing between the CBSUA and DOST-FNRI.
