Collaborating with Professional Group Bicol Chapter, the Philippine Society of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers – Pre-Professional Group (PSABE-PPG) CBSUA Chapter spearheaded a Community Outreach Program in Balatas and San Isidro, Naga City, Philippines on 25 January 2020.
Tree planting and gift-giving were the organization’s movements to realize its belief that “sharing is caring.” These activities highlighted the efforts of the group in caring for others after achieving for themselves.
The said activity aimed to support Local Government Units (LGUs) with existing Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers (ABEs) and the city government’s FOM program as a greening program approach and provide assistance to the children in the dumpsite located in Barangay Balatas.
The said outreach program provided dynamic activities and environmental awareness campaign to the children of Naga City.
PSABE-PPG CBSUA Chapter consists of officers and members are students of the College of Engineering and Food Sciences (CEFS) of the university.
