The Re-Invigorating Skills in Education for Multi-grade Teachers (RISE4MgT) extension program of the College of Development Education formally concluded its three-year implementation with a sustainability planning workshop and the ceremonial turnover of the RISE Learning Resource Package on December 10, 2025, at the Farmers Training Hall.
The activity marked the turnover of the learning resource package to multi-grade teachers from the DepEd Schools Division Office of Pili East and West Districts, ensuring the continued use and integration of the program’s outputs in classroom instruction.
The program opened with an overview of the activity delivered by Prof. Ana Vera V. Hugo, one of the project leaders. This was followed by the opening remarks and statement of purpose from Dr. Christopher B. Dacer, also a project leader, who formally welcomed the participants.
Participants were then grouped for the sustainability planning session, where they discussed strategies to maintain and further enhance the gains of the RISE4MgT program. The activity concluded with the awarding of certificates and the official turnover of the RISE Learning Resource Package, which showcased outputs developed by the participating multi-grade teachers.
Building on the success of its initial implementation, the RISE4MgT program is set to launch its second wave in other districts within the Province of Camarines Sur that also operate under a multi-grade school setup.
