RISE4MGT SPEARHEADS PEER-COACHING TRAINING FOR MULTI-GRADE TEACHERS OF PILI DISTRICT

CBSUA CDE extension service program, RISE4MGT, organized a Capability Enhancement Training on Pedagogy called “New Trends in Teaching: The Beauty of Peer-Coaching,” on March 21, 2022, at the University Speech Laboratory. The project aims to enhance the skills of multi-grade teachers in the Pili East and West Districts, in line with the mandate of higher institutions. The event was led by Christopher Dacer, Ana Vera Hugo, and Cristia Shiena Amparo-Tubale, and featured Dr. Charlie Nacario as the Resource Speaker.

The event drew participation from PSDS, school heads, and teachers from the Pili West and East District, as well as faculty members of the College of Development Education, and officers of the LPEE, who gained insights on the benefits of coaching among peers. Dr. Nacario emphasized the importance of having a positive mindset towards helping peers succeed in their careers.

As part of the extension program’s second capacity enhancement training, a session on managing the mental well-being of both teachers and students is scheduled on March 29, 2022. This upcoming event aims to provide further support to teachers and students as they navigate the challenges of education in the current landscape. | π˜—π˜©π˜°π˜΅π˜°π˜΄ 𝘀𝘰𝘢𝘳𝘡𝘦𝘴𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘍𝘦𝘭π˜ͺ𝘹𝘒𝘯π˜₯𝘦𝘳 π˜‰. π˜•π˜’π˜’ 𝘰𝘧 π˜“π˜—π˜Œπ˜Œ
