Campus Administrators- Pili Campus and Calabanga Campus, Prof. Celerino B. Llesol, and Dr. Cornelio B. Funtanar, respectively with the College of Arts and Sciences faculty members attended the Simultaneous International World Bamboo week as the cooperating country held on 17 September 2021.
The secretary of DENR declared bamboo as a high-value crop and CBSUA is being eyed as the Regional Center for bamboo research and technology being proposed by the Campus Administrator – Pili.
CBSUA will tie-up with DENR, DA, DTI, and the municipality of Bula and Milaor as partner agencies for the establishment of the Bamboo Eco-park and Bamboo Technolgy.
