Training Teachers, Intensifies Learning Process

 

Thirty-seven newly-hired instructors who are non-education graduates participated in the Training-Seminar that equipped faculty members with knowledge that enable them to contribute to quality education through successful teaching-learning process on 9 August 2019 at CAS Lecture Hall.

Human Resource Development Officer,Mr. Luigi Lorenzo N. Razal in cooperation with the Office of the President, sponsored the training seminar on Best Practices, Effective Techniques and Interventions on Instructional Delivery, Classroom Management, Assessment and Technology Skills allowing the faculty to realize the importance of effective Instructional delivery especially for college students.

University President, Dr. Alberto N. Naperi in welcoming the participants, reminded the newly hired instructors to teach not for their living, but to teach like every student is their family.Treat everyone like a son or daughter of theirs. Likewise mentioning the CBSUA core principles namely Discipline, Care and Respect as vital guiding ideals as teachers in the university was emphasized.

Ateneo De Naga University Senior High School Director and Principles and Methods of Teaching Specialist, Dr. Ronald P. Elicay discussed the Best Practices, Effective Techniques and Interventions on Instructional Delivery and Classroom Management, incorporating activities the teachers could use in the classroom. Ateneo Teacher Training Center Director, Dr. Arnulfo Aaron R. Regan it tackled the Best Practices, Effective Techniques and Interventions on Classroom Assessment Types and Techniques while ADNU Faculty Member and Microsoft Education Ambassador, Prof. Gilbert L. Pado discoursed on the Best Practices, Effective Techniques and Interventions on Technology Skills.
