The National Service Training Program (NSTP) Office of the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) – Pili Campus conducted the NSTP Anti-Hazing Awareness and Commitment Program on March 15, 2026, at the CBSUA Student Center Gathering Hall.
The activity brought together CWTS students and facilitators, as well as six Basic Cadet representatives from the ROTC component. It aimed to raise awareness on the dangers of hazing and foster a culture of discipline, respect, accountability, and inclusive leadership.
Organized by the NSTP–Pili Office, the program emphasized the importance of protecting students’ rights while nurturing responsible and ethical leadership within the NSTP community.
The program featured a lecture by Atty. Roberto Begino Jr., focusing on the Republic Act No. 11053, also known as the Anti-Hazing Act of 2018. He helped students recognize the physical, psychological, and online forms of hazing while emphasizing their rights and protections under the law.
The initiative is part of National Hazing Prevention Week, following directives from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Office V, which encourages higher education institutions to implement programs promoting awareness, prevention, and student protection. | 𝘙𝘦𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘰𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘕𝘚𝘛𝘗 𝘗𝘪𝘭𝘪
