After a successful stint at the 21st Luzon-wide Higher Education Press Conference (LHEPC), the College Artisans Bulletin (CAB), official student publication of CBSUA–Sipocot Campus, continued its streak of excellence by earning recognition at Punlaan 2026, held on March 21–22, at the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB).

Organized by UPLB Perspective, the event brought together student journalists from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao with the theme “Journalism and Critical Consciousness Amid Social Crises.” Participants engaged in competitions and discussions that showcased creativity, critical thinking, and journalistic skills.

CAB delegates garnered triumphs at the said competition, with Ian Jay S. Bradecina securing 2nd place in Traditional Editorial Cartooning (English), Joy B. Cabaltea placing 3rd in Literary Writing, and Ella Mae A. Aycocho achieving 4th place in Science and Technology Writing.

This success at Punlaan 2026 reflects the university’s continuous effort to provide students with opportunities to grow as responsible and socially aware individuals, ready to contribute meaningfully to the media landscape and society at large.
