The College of Development Education (CDE) of the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) successfully conducted ED-VANCE 2026: A Research Colloquium for Future Educators on May 7, 2026, at the CBSUA Pili Campus, carrying the theme β€œEmpowering Student-Interns through Evidence-Based Practices and Pedagogical Innovations.”

The activity gathered education student-interns, faculty members, and academic mentors in a meaningful exchange of research-based ideas and innovative teaching practices designed to strengthen the competencies of future educators. The colloquium served as a platform for student-interns to present their research outputs, share classroom experiences, and explore evidence-based strategies that contribute to effective and responsive teaching and learning.

Through research presentations and academic discussions, participants highlighted the importance of pedagogical innovation, reflective practice, and data-driven instruction in addressing the evolving needs of learners in today’s educational landscape.
