11th Charter Anniversary celebrated, renewed commitment to the University

Elevating CBSUA’s Agriculture Prominence: Achieving Bicolano’s Dreams Amid Pandemic was this year’s theme for the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture Charter Anniversary Celebration held on 6 November 2020.
Commencing with Eucharistic Celebration with Archbishop of Caceres, Most. Rev. Archbp. Rolando T. Tirona, OCD, DD, the University community shared the lessons of life as one. The homily centered on three vital things about celebrating anniversaries which are moments of memory, celebration, and renewal. Thanksgiving of the history that shaped the present and that made people grateful of was the key of the first moment; while growing with the academic community and renewing commitment to the school’s philosophy were the points of the second and third.
“Your philosophy is one of the best schools’ philosophies I heard, ‘Education for Sustainable Human Development’ is very beautiful and meaningful’,” Fr. Tirona concluded.
The University community witnessed the recorded program observing the safety protocols, which was initially for the virtual charter celebration, in the afternoon. Two of the partner Universities which are North Carolina University and University of the Philippines-Los Baños, gave their well-wishes to CBSUA through Mr. Michel Bustle and UPLB Chancellor, Dr. Jose V. Camacho, respectively.
The program, likewise, took a glimpse of the two-year President’s milestones through a video presentation imploring the university initiatives on its mandates. The whole Charter Celebration opening program video shall be uploaded in a schedule yet to announce.
The Academic Affairs cluster thru VP Ana E. Miraña spearheaded this year’s celebration.
