MMSU-NBERIC CASCADES KNOWLEDGE AND TECHNOLOGY ON BIOETHANOL PRODUCTION TO CBSUA RESEARCH TEAM

Mariano Marcos State University- National Bioethanol Research and Innovation Center (NBERIC) conducted 2-day training on “Production and Testing of Fuel-Grade Bioethanol and Other Products from Sugar and Nipa Sap” that oriented and capacitated the CBSUA team on alcohol production, distillation, and testing. The training is in preparation for the CBSUA adoption of the MMSU-NBERIC “Nipahol” technology, which was given by the MMSU-NBERIC for free including the accommodation.

Experts from MMSU-NBERIC led by Dr. Roque Ulep facilitated the training of the CBSUA team and logistics. Meanwhile, other concerns were arranged by the team of Prof Marjorie Garcia, the MMSU Director for Partnership. Inception was conducted as well after the training to identify related research to be conducted by both parties and to plan out the ways forward.
