More than 300 project participants coming from 9 LGUs: Lupi, Sipocot, Pamplona, Pasacao, San Fernando, Minalabac, Milaor, Pili, and Ocampo of the extension program Enhancing Community Livelihood Education, Culture, and Tradition Towards Sustainable Agriculture in the Bicol Region gathered at CBSUA main campus for a general assembly, cultural competition, and Agri-Exhibit on December 7, 2022.

The program commenced with a mass followed by the blessing of booths installed around the CBSUA Atrium. Words of inspiration were delivered by the Extension Director, Dr. Vladimir Foronda; Vice President for Research and Innovation, Dr. Ramona Isabel S. Ramirez; and Campus Administrator, Dr. Celerino Llesol, Jr. The induction ceremony of the officers of each LGU highlighted the morning event. Through this, they committed themselves to continue their mission to sustain agriculture and vowed to serve as inspiration to the other members of the society to where they belong.

The afternoon session was packed with vibrance as the representatives showed off their talents in various events such as Zumba, katutubong sayaw, katutubong awitin, tigsik, and tula, all of which have agri themes. This was spearheaded by Dr. Jiye Margate, one of the Project Coordinators of the Extension Program.

The success of this Extension Program was supported by our University President, Dr. Alberto N. Naperi. Much appreciation is given to the CBSUA faculty, employees, and students who supported the event by patronizing the agricultural products brought by the project beneficiaries. This activity was spearheaded by Ms. Helen Abilay, the Proponent of the said extension program, with support from the Project Leaders and staff.
