CBSUA CEM CONDUCTS PARTIAL ASSESSMENT, EVALUATION OF ONGOING 5-YEAR EXTENSION PROJECT AT ALBAY AND SORSOGON

The College of Economics and Management-Department of Tourism Management’s Project SRAP headed by Ms. Jill Rodriguez-CEM Faculty, conducted a partial assessment and evaluation of the ongoing 5-Year Extension Project with a familiarization tour of selected farm tourism sites at Albay and Sorsogon on February 3 – 4, 2023.

Present in the activity are the trainees of SRAP, Fr. Wilmer Tria, the parish priest, and Mr. Francis Leo Loberanes, CANR faculty.

The said activity was part of the project planning and implementation, in which the group strongly believes that visiting and evaluating successful farm tourism sites will help strengthen and achieve effective and quality output of the project SRAP. Among the farms visited were the El Miro De Shei Integrated Farm at Salugan, Albay, FarmPlate Gabawan at Daraga, and Balay Buhay sa Uma Bee Farm at Bulusan Sorsogon.

During the familiarization tour, the participants assessed and evaluated the farm tourism sites. With the learning and observations of the good practices, the activity concluded with a presentation and discussion/sharing for SRAP’s adaptation.
