CBSUA CONDUCTS SPECIAL LECTURE ON ANIMAL AGRIBUSINESS UNDER CLIMATE CHANGE

More than 100 students, faculty members, and stakeholders joined the Special Lecture titled โ€œAnimal Agribusiness Under Climate Change Eraโ€ on September 2, 2026, at the Ciriaco N. Divinagracia (CND) Hall, with the program also streamed via Facebook Live.

Spearheaded by the Master of Science in Resource Management (MSRM) and Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness (BSAB) programs, the lecture discussed sustainable and climate-smart approaches to animal-based agricultural enterprises in the face of changing climate conditions.

Professor Ir. Hari Dwi Utami, MS., M.Appl.Sc., Ph.D., IPM, ASEAN Eng., of the Faculty of Animal Science and Technology of Universitas Brawijaya (UB) in Indonesia, served as the resource speaker.

The lecture also opened discussions on possible academic collaboration between CBSUA and Universitas Brawijaya, including PhD scholarship opportunities, Scopus-indexed research publications, and academic and institutional visits.

The activity enhanced CBSUAโ€™s international academic engagements, providing opportunities for students and faculty to gain perspectives from international experts and explore potential research and academic linkages.
