Responding to the university’s intent to establish an environmental laboratory for the new courses offerings of Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science (BSES) and Bachelor of Science in Agro-Forestry (BSAF), Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) conducted consultative meeting with DENR-PENRO and the Tible People’s Organization (TPO) at Tible, Sipocot, Camarines Sur on on 5 May 2021.
CBSUA and DENR-PENRO together with Tible PO facilitated the event to come up with a tripartite agreement stipulating the participation and support to programs and projects relative to the new course offerings.
It was also highlighted in the meeting that one family member in the organization will be granted a full scholarship should they opt to enroll in any of the two new courses.
Present in the meeting were the CBSUA team headed by its President, Dr. Alberto N. Naperi, DENR-PENRO officials, People’s Organization officials, and Barangay Council of Tible, Sipocot, Camarines Sur.
This activity was part of attaining the University’s mission of building resilient and sustainable communities.
