Through the commitment of the CBSUA Administration, through the Human Resource Management Office, and Philippine National PKI Organization of the Cyber Security Bureau of the DICT REGION V, the Administrative Council of the University attends the Public Key Infrastructure Orientation on September 7, 2022 at the CAS Lecture Hall.

Atty. Dominador Faurillo, the Vice President for Administration and Finance, highlighted in his welcome remarks the importance of encrypting digital signatures especially in government files and documents.

Mr. Ralph Spencer Talagtag, the Project DevelopmentOfficer of DICT, discussed the Public Key Infrastructure or PKI as a system of processes, technologies, and policies that allows encryption and signing of data. He further explained that PKI provides a mechanism for trusted online relationships by ensuring the security of digital data and transactions by providing authentication, confidentiality, integrity, and non-repudiation.

Also present during the orientation is the provincial officer of DICT, Ms. Ma. Peñafrancia Nepomuceno, and Engr. Jhun Mar Traballo. The University continues to commit itself to digitalization especially during the pandemic, which required a sudden shift to online learning and massive digital advancement.
