KONEKTED PROGRAM-CARAVAN MICRO-CREDENTIALS TRAINING COMMENCES

As one of Fulbright DAST teacher Julian Schleiden’s objectives of sharing her expertise with the community, an international activity titled Micro-credentials on Technical Writing as well as Academic Writing and Research under the KONEKTED Program of the College of Development Education (CDE) and Collaborative, Resource-filled, Academic Viable Network (CARAVAN) of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA), in collaboration with Fullbright and the College of Education of Pasacao, Sipocot, and Calabanga campuses, commenced on September 7, 2022. It occurred simultaneously at the EcoCafé and through the Zoom platform.

The first day’s morning session focused on the conventions of letter writing. The afternoon is intended for asynchronous activities through the CBSUA Virtual Learning Portal (VLP). 223 pre-service teachers, faculty, and employees of the LGU Pili, Calabanga, Sipocot, and Pasacao Campuses attended the said training. The micro-credentials training will run from September 7-14, 2022. On the 14th there will be a Recognition Rites and Closing Program.

The activity was graced by President Dr. Alberto A. Naperi, VPAA Dr. Ana E. Mirana, VPBEA Prof. Cesar Armando S. Camba, Sr., and the Acting Mayor of Hon. Francis Belen. The Acting Mayor expressed his gratitude to CBSUA for extending the training to the employees of the municipality.
