CBSUA-FOOD TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM IS NOW PRB COMPLIANT

In adherence to the Republic Act No. 11052 of the Philippine Food Technology Act and to pursue the duties and mandates for the food technology profession, the Professional Regulatory Board (PRB) of Food Technology (FT) conducted an inspection-monitoring of the BS Food Technology program of the CBSUA-Department of Food Science (DFS) on August 10, 2022, at the CND Hall in which the mentioned program was awarded as compliant.

The inspection monitoring started with an opening program where the University President, Dr. Alberto N. Naperi, delivered his welcome remarks. Present are the PRB-FT led by Dr. Anthony Sales and the DFS faculty members with their Chairperson, Ms. Alessandra M. Domanaco. After the opening program, an ocular visit of the facilities was conducted.

The inspection team gave their overall impressions and provided pointers for improvement. This was to ensure that the services offered by the program are at par with the standards set by the PRB-FT.
