The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA), through the Office of Student Affairs โ Guidance and Counseling Unit, conducted a seminar on managing academic stress on February 19, 2026, at the Student Hub to support the mental well-being and academic success of students from the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM).
The seminar aimed to equip students with practical strategies for managing academic pressures, strengthening coping mechanisms, and promoting resilience in meeting the rigorous demands of their academic program.
Invited resource speaker Paula Mariz Cuarteros, RPm, CHRA, Administrative Officer IV of CBSUA, discussed stress management techniques, effective time management, and self-care practices. She emphasized that maintaining mental, emotional, and physical well-being is essential for achieving academic excellence and holistic development.
The activity also underlined the availability of professional support services through the Guidance and Counseling Unit for students who may need individual assistance.
