The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) recognized its employees and retirees for their dedication and contributions to the institution during the Gawad Unibersidad para sa natatanging Serbisyo at Inspirasyon (GUSI) Awards 2026, held on October 27 at The Tent, Avenue Plaza Hotel, Naga City.
The annual recognition ceremony featured the presentation of service awards to personnel who completed 10, 15, 20, 30, 35, and 40 years of service, alongside Presidential Awards recognizing contributions to the University.
Retired employees were also honored through the Legacy of Service segment, acknowledging their years of dedication and service to CBSUA.
Aside from the recognition of employees and retirees, the program featured presentations on CBSUA Institutional Milestones, CBSUA: The Journey Continues, the book Between Octobers: One University Journey, and the presentation of the University President’s Report, highlighting the institution’s accomplishments and developments.
The ceremony also marked the official launch of OBONG: Beyond Duty, Beyond Measure, a tribute film dedicated to CBSUA President Dr. Alberto N. Naperi in recognition of his leadership and years of service to the University.
Messages of gratitude from the CBSUA community and a tribute to Dr. Naperi followed, along with a heartfelt message from the outgoing University President.
