CBSUA-RI SPEARHEADS TRAINING ON CACAO PRODUCTS PROCESSING

In connection with the implementation of the VLIR-UOS funded project “Strengthening Networking and Entrepreneurial Capacity of Cacao Farmers and Household Processors in the Bicol Region”, a training on product development, packaging and entrepreneurship was conducted on September 7-8, 2022 at the CND Hall with Davao expert processors and entrepreneurs Mrs. Mary Grace Belviz and husband Mr. Emmanuel Belviz as resource speakers.

Participants from the different cacao farmer and processors organizations attended the training intended to capacitate them in their cacao-related ventures.

The resource speakers had a wide experience in the field of product development and entrepreneurship and are recognized not only in the country but also abroad. They have willingly shared their own experiences and practices in the production and marketing of cacao products that they wish the attendees would be able to do as well in their own ventures.
