Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) formally opened its βParangal, Pagkilala, at Pagpupugay: Legacies of Leadership and Gallery of Awardsβ today, April 20, 2026, establishing a permanent space that highlights the institutionβs leadership history and key achievements.
The galleries located at the Ground Floor of the Administration Building in the Pili Campus, is intended to preserve CBSUAβs institutional memory while reinforcing a culture of recognition and excellence among students, faculty, and staff.
Project Lead Mr. Teofisto P. Arreglo Jr. described the initiative as a βtribute to the individuals and milestones that shaped the university,β adding that the gallery is designed to inspire future leaders within the academic community.
In his message, University President Dr. Alberto N. Naperi emphasized the role of such initiatives in strengthening institutional identity. He noted that documenting leadership and accomplishments helps sustain the universityβs commitment to quality education, research, and public service.
The project was formally turned over by Mr. Pedro G. Oya IV, Director of the Physical Plant Development and Services Office, to the Pili Campus administration. Accepting the gallery on behalf of the campus, Dr. Allan B. Del Rosario, Campus Administrator, and Ms. Rose Lynnor Matos, Quality Assurance Director, committed to maintaining the exhibit as a continuing source of pride and motivation for the university community.
The opening was marked by a ribbon-cutting and unveiling ceremony led by the university president and vice presidents, followed by a blessing officiated by University Chaplain Rev. Fr. Bernard Lagatic.
The galleries now stand as a permanent testament to CBSUAβs enduring legacy of leadership and achievement, celebrating the people and milestones that have shaped the institutionβs identity.
