The College of Development Education attended the recently concluded Pre-Service Teacher Education Congress with the theme “Rooted in Integrity, Nurtured by Compassion: Building Safe, Ethical, and Resilient Classrooms Together” on October 23, 2026, at Legazpi City Convention Center, Legazpi City, Albay.
The event was spearheaded by the Council of Deans for Teacher Education Region V (Bicol), Inc. (CODTE V), aiming to foster development and empower future educators across Bicol Region.
Comprising officers and members from the College of Development Education – Student Council, League of Pre-Service Elementary Educators (LPEE), Guild of English Majors (GEMS), Science Teachers Active Regents (STAR), League of Future Mathematics Teachers (LFMT), Masining na Pagpapahayag (RETORIKA), and The Passionate Educators in Agricultural Knowledge (the PEAK), the participation of the college marks a huge avenue for students to widen their knowledge and sharpen their skills as pre-service educators.
