CBSUA HOLDS PRIME-HRM LEVEL III ORIENTATION, ACTION PLANNING WORKSHOP

The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) conducted a three-day PRIME-HRM Level III Orientation and Action Planning Workshop on April 28–30, 2026, at the SWKS Hall and Auditorium.

Members of the Technical Working Group (TWG), composed of deans, directors, faculty members, Human Resource Management and Development Office (HRMDO) staff, and other concerned personnel, gathered in the workshop as part of the university’s ongoing preparation for the Civil Service Commission’s Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) Level III assessment and implementation.

Representatives from the CSC Camarines Sur facilitated the sessions, discussing the PRIME-HRM Level III indicators, required documentation, and compliance standards. Participants reviewed existing HR systems and identified areas for improvement to ensure alignment with competency-based human resource management practices.

Workshops and action planning sessions were also conducted to outline concrete steps toward strengthening recruitment, performance management, learning and development, and rewards systems across the university’s four campuses.

The activity is part of the university’s three-year process toward achieving PRIME-HRM Level III status, as CBSUA continues to strengthen and institutionalize its competency-based human resource management systems.
