CDE RISE4MgT TEAM CONDUCTS CAPACITY ENHANCEMENT TRAINING FOR DEPED MULTI-GRADE TEACHERS ON STUDENT WELLBEING

On April 3, 2023, the RISE4MgT team of the College of Development Education, held a Capacity Enhancement Training for the School Heads and Multi-grade Teachers of Pili West and Pili East Districts at the University Auditorium, focused on the importance of Student Wellbeing inside the classroom.

The event’s Resource Speaker, Prof. Leizle Manacob, the University Guidance Counselor, emphasized the significance of prioritizing student wellbeing in creating a conducive and productive classroom environment. She discussed various strategies that teachers can utilize to ensure that their students’ emotional and psychological needs are met, such as creating a positive and welcoming classroom environment and encouraging students to express their emotions.

The “Analytics of Emotions: Supporting Student Wellbeing in the Classroom” training was part of the extension program of the College of Development Education and the RISE4MgT team’s series of Capacity Enhancement Trainings and Module Development activities. The program aims to equip educators with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively address the challenges that arise in the classroom, particularly in the area of Student Wellbeing.
