ππ‘π ππ§π ππππππ«π¬π‘π’π© πππ―ππ₯π¨π©π¦ππ§π ππ§π’ππ’πππ’π―π π’π§ ππ‘π ππ¨π° ππ¨π«π¦ππ₯, dubbed with the theme βA Leap Honing the Holistic Skills of New Student Leaders in the Virtual Leadership,β was held last December 6-7, 2021 through Zoom App and streamlined on OSAS Facebook Page. The event was organized by the Office of the Student Affairs and Services, the NCSU-Global Training Initiative alumni, and the Supreme Student Council of Pili Campus. The training was conducted to equip student leaders with the skills needed to succeed in the digital setup.
The invited speakers were certified public and global speakers, namely Mr. Lloyd Luna-Motivational Speaker and Founder, Luna Group; Mr. Emmanuel Mirus Ponoon, Global Teen Honouree; Ms. Samantha Sillama-Intern, Student Leadership Office, North Carolina University; Provost Dr. Kathaleen Reid-Oral Roberts University, Oklahoma; and Dr. Maria Liwayway Matamorosa, Associate Professor V, CBSUA.
Over 700 participating schools from local, national, and foreign countries have attended the training. Some foreign universities attended were from Bolivia, Egypt, India, Kenya, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sudan, and Uganda.
The training highlights were the discussion on effective communication, leadership and the roles of leaders, project planning and delegation, and crafting project proposal.
