The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) and TUV Rheinland convened for an online pre-closing meeting today, November 7, 2025. During the session, Lead Auditor Ms. Maribeth Lucañas presented the initial audit findings, conclusions, and recommendations based on the audits conducted at CBSUA’s Calabanga, Pasacao, and Sipocot campuses from November 5 to 7, 2025.
In his message, University President Dr. Alberto N. Naperi expressed his gratitude to TUV Rheinland for meticulously identifying areas for improvement and highlighting positive observations within CBSUA’s systems. He assured that the University will address the audit findings, emphasizing, “We are becoming a big organization, so everything has to be ironed out. There’s no other way to go but up, and we must maintain our quality assurance qualifications if we truly want to deliver quality education.”
Dr. Naperi also commended CBSUA employees for their continued dedication to upholding the University’s ISO certification. “I see the dedication of all employees. Thank you so much for what you’ve been doing for the past seven years, since 2018 when I became President,” he said. He likewise extended his appreciation to the internal auditors and process owners for their vital roles in maintaining the University’s ISO standards.
Meanwhile, due to inclement weather conditions, CBSUA and the audit team agreed to reschedule the Pili Campus audit to a later date, which will be conducted online.
