The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) and Audentes Technologies, Inc. formalized a partnership on September 2, 2026, at the Ciriaco N. Divinagracia (CND) Hall, CBSUA Pili, to provide students and faculty with access to industry-recognized certification and microcredential programs that support workforce readiness.
Under the agreement, CBSUA will be appointed as a local facilitator for Certiport Certification Programs and may establish at least one Certiport Authorized Testing Center, subject to facility requirements, while the partnership also provides opportunities to integrate microcredentials into academic offerings, including internship or on-the-job training, elective courses, and other relevant programs.
The agreement also includes 20 Certiport certification vouchers for faculty use at no cost during the first year of the partnership, with CBSUA’s purchase of certification vouchers commencing in the succeeding year as provided in the agreement.
Atty. Dominador F. Faurillo, Vice President for Administration and Finance, delivered the opening remarks, followed by the statement of purpose from Dr. Melinda Parro-Pan, Vice President for Academic Affairs, while Dr. Rey-Mark G. Basagre, Director of the Center for Instructional Development (CID), presented the essential contents of the MOA before the formal signing.
Mr. Francis Hernandez of Audentes led the discussion on curriculum mapping and microcredentials, followed by a presentation to students, faculty, and parents, where certification opportunities were discussed as complementary credentials that can help students build portfolios of industry-recognized competencies for employment and workforce readiness.
The presentation was followed by an open forum where students, faculty, and parents raised questions about the partnership and its implementation.
The two-day activity concluded on September 3 with the installation of the Compass App and checking of the computer laboratory, led by CBSUA and Audentes.
